About
Lift Truckee
We are committed to environmental sustainability, prioritize sharing resources, promoting environmental sustainability initiatives, and investing in a resilient and sustainable future for our community and planet.
Our Projects
Lift Workspace
Based in Truckee CA, we provide an accessible, clean, and green professional workspace to inspire important work and support community health. Contained with the workspace, we also offer a wellness space, where we support wellness professionals dedicated to serving the broader community.
Through professional development opportunities, including talks, lectures, and workshops, we empower our staff and members to flourish.
Truckee River Legacy Foundation
Our mission is to serve as the catalyst in the development of access to the Truckee River from Glenshire to Hwy. 89 and Donner Lake. We understand and accept the fact that this may take many years.
To accomplish this we will:
Create a multi-use trail system that both provides access to and encourages appreciation and respect for The River’s natural habitat;
Facilitate productive partnerships committee to getting the job done;
Realize the dream of our legacy, which will create deep pride among Rotarians and within our local community.
Truckee
Climate Hub
Truckee Climate Hub
Each month we have one guest speaker. It's a great way to meet like-minded professionals working in energy, renewables, and climate.
This meet-up is part of the Lift's goal of investing into social enterprises and building Truckee’s Climate Hub for a vibrant and sustainable planet.
Community Projects We Support
Tahoe, Inc. Entrepreneurs Roundtable
Each month, local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profit owners gather and connect in a peer-to-peer mentoring series, held in partnership with local co-working spaces and businesses.
Attendees are organized into tables/groups of 4-5 to have a turn to discuss their most pressing or top-of-mind business issues and get input and advice from others in their group.
The idea is to walk away with a few tangible tasks that you can work on in between sessions to incrementally improve and strengthen your business.
** The series is free to attend, but please register in advance. **
Beyond Nonprofit Memberships, we also provide regular discounted meeting and conference room space to over 20 nonprofits.
